I ordered my first pair of shoes and paid $46+ and it happened to be at the end of last month. Well I wasn't interested in becoming a member but seems like I was forced to in order to buy a pair of shoes.

Well I figured if I liked the shoes, service etc. maybe I'd give them a try. Well I logged into my account the following week to read up on the membership etc. Immediately upon logging in there was a pop up informing me that I could skip the monthly fee of $39.95 by the 5th to avoid being charged.

Well I thought that was fantastic because I had just ordered on 10/28 and at that point I didn't want to spend again until my next pay period after the 15th. Well that day was the 5th so I lucked out on being able to skip that month. I did it from work in the a.m. so I was golden!

It said, "You have skipped this month, you will not be charged $39.95". I've never been a member of this sort of thing, so I figured hey this isn't bad. I could budget myself to $40/mo. on shoes.

I'm not a huge shoe shopper...I just so happen to need new comfy shoes for work. So I was actually excited that now I could be a member and buy shoes monthly with just a low budget. Well long behold.... I got a bank notification of being overdrawn this morning.

I looked online and *** ShoeDazzle charged me their $39.95 membership fee after I skipped the month! Well at this point I'm furious that it specifically said "you will not be charged" and these bastards had the nerve to disregard my request and still debit my account. Needless to say, I will be cancelling my membership due to the fact that I was within the time frame to skip and since I just placed an order, how dare they not take that into account. I called this a.m.

to see how long I would get a live operator. I have to call back during my lunch break and see what they have to say about this erroneous charge.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $76.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I had the same issue and now trying to correct. I waited for 16 minutes and 48 seconds the first time I called only to be hung up on just a few moments after my call was answered.

Trying to call back now, wait time is terrible. I skipped the month and was still charged.....the whole point in me having the account with ShoeDazzle is to budget myself and when I need to skip the month I expect not to be charged.....I'm going to cancel now because I can't have these unexpected charges.

I had that issue, called customer service, and they fixed it. Spoke to my bank and they cancelled the overdraft fee. I love ShoeDazzle.
