I was hoodwinked

I bought a pair of sandals last Aug 2014. Thought I got a good price for said shoes only to discover 7 months later that shoe dazzle had been deducting $39.95 per month for a membership that I didn't have any knowledge of. My husband flipped his lid when he realized that our acct. had been debited a whopping $279.65. He called them and threatened them with a complaint to Visa and our bank for fraud. After persistence he finally got them to refund the money. If this happens to you be dogged and don't let them try to cajole you into using your credits to buy more shoes from them. INSIST they refund your money ASAP. This is fraud in the inducement. Read all small print and don't agree to anything.

Ordered a 129.99 shoe (Steve Madden). The quality was like beyond.... The shoes were ill fitting in a way that it is not like 1 size up or down could fix it - they were cut too high and cut into my ankle bone (never had that one...). Alright 5 bucks for returning the shoes are on me. Cancellation of membership is possible but painful. Best strategy: say a few times very firm and aggressive: "NO" "NEVER AGAIN" "I HATE YOU" or the agent will read her endless call scripts. All good until here. Can happen, right? The reason I feel like trashing them here is that they did not publish my review. Later I saw that the shoes have many negative ratings on other sites. On shoedazzle they are "5 star". Just do not allow customer reviews if you do not feel like it. But censoring negative reviews is not cool.

I ordered one purse. It arrived promptly, that wasn't the problem. They made me a VIP without my knowledge. They informed me on the invoice that they would be charging my credit card EVERY month. These people are frauds! DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING FROM THEM, JUST DON'T!!!!!!!

I was tricked into being a VIP cutomer. Almost $600 was debited from my account before I figured out what was happening. I did get them to refund half of it. They flat steal your money. Money is taken from your account monthly and is called a credit. You better watch what box you check when dealing with these people. They have my money when I didn't buy anything and they won't give it back. They are no better than common thieves .

Not a Happy Camper!

Received the shoes, but as another reviewer stated they do not fit as a regular size shoe. Also, you get charged $29.00 within a month if you do not order by the 5th of every month. Maybe they did say that in the fine print. But I did not read it.. I did cancel my membership and asked for a refund but unfortunately, they do not give refunds. Costly mistake. I will not be ordering from this company. The shoes are not quality and therefore, They look like shoes that you buy from these $9.99 shoes. So, I guest you get what you pay for.

After signing up for the VIP membership I was sent incomplete, and out right WRONG orders, as I live in hawaii returning the item would cost $16, and the standard restocking fee ($5.). on top of these outright screwups they wanted to abuse my $66+ credit to pay for the order they would not accept back after getting WRONG; and tried to convince me that that was a deal because the credit payed for it. This is theft, plain outright complete theft.

I've been a customer since 2011, with a vip membership that takes only $9.95 from my acc every month, so I wait for it to build up a good amount and order a new pair of shoes…i was very happy with it until they came up with this new VIP ELITE membership.. now the prices of MY membership went up and the membership that was free before is 4.95 now :/ . Also they don't show my price anymore, just new vip elite price, so in order to see how much they gonna charge me i have to add to the bag, go to checkout, see the price and then delete it.. Well, it's frustrating, because when you sing to a membership it's like a contract right?!! But they just want to force you into the new vip elite membership!

I received a pair of shoes that I did not like. I printed the return label and returned the shoes. I have been a loyal customer for two years and have purchased a lot of shoes. They are telling me they never received the shoes I returned and are refusing my refund or credit. They must not care about their clients because I am now canceling my account. The shoes were called SIGNA, a tan flat. Very nice but did not come with shoelaces and apparently never did. Only reason I returned them. This isn't the way to treat your loyal customers.

Don't order from shoedazzle I thought I was getting a good deal but at the end I wasn't I order two pairs boots and they were 75 percent off for begin a first time customer but in the long run my Visa card got charge 39.95 twice and I call and they said it nothing they can do abt it I'm very disappoint in them seen like a great deal at first but it not bottom line don't shop online with shoedazzle they will get money out of ur account on the slick side never will do bus sines with them again

I gave them a fair try, and I do not like the quality of their shoes. After returning many pairs of shoes, every time was charged return shipping. When I called to cancel my membership I was charged RETROACTIVE restocking fee of $5.95 on each of the shoes I had returned, to be able to get a refund (that was the only choice to get a refund). Outrageous! They even asked me if I still wanted to cancel... I was finally able to get a cancellation number from a supervisor, and hope this is the last time I hear from them.

Stealing Money from My credit Card. I have cancelle three times or more!!!

This place a SCAM!! they take your money/charge your card, without your permission and allow the funds to simply build up. My account had $160. just sitting there, and they DO NOT refund ALL your Money, they will lie and tell you they have, but Trust me, they dont!

I was not aware that they were going into my card every month why the *** would they just keep charging when it is obvious that you are not using their site. BUNCH OF CROOKS!!

I have sent no less than 8 emails, numerous phone calls, all in which they assure me my account was cancelled. Yet, they charge my account again!!! an today I receive an email telling me I have only today to SKIP the $39.95 charge?? But my account is cancelled!! These people are something else! on't get involved with this company. They LIE, STEAL and then STEAL SOME MORE.

NY ONE INTERESTED IN PURSUING A CLASS SUIT ACTION. THIS IS NOTHING SHORT OF CRIMINAL!

I would call your credit card company this is how I stopped the biggest scammers on the planet “the Bradford exchange “ I bought a Christmas ball for my sister they neglected to write ANYWHERE that it was part of a group of ornaments and “for my convenience “ they just kept on charging and charging me for ornaments I didn’t want so I called my credit card co and they blocked them ; boy where they pissed off sent me letter after letter after letter that they were “going to send the IRS after me ?!?l “ that’s the level To which it got I laughed and called and talked to some CS rep about fraud ( my husband was a fraud investigator at the time ) but they STILL sent me the most vicious horrible letters I saved them for laughs when ppl came over to my house ; but call your credit card company they’re easier to work with and will block them

I had ordered a pair of shoes to be shipped to my friend's apartment because I don't have an address since I live on campus. When I learned that the address was invalid, I checked with Shoe Dazzle and they said it was returned to them but they couldn't send it back because they were out of stock. Why couldn't they just send me back the shoes that I had paid for? Though they said they would refund (waiting to see if they do) me, I'm just very annoyed with them and immediately cancelled my VIP membership with them. I'm completely unsatisfied with their overall store, such a horribly organized business. Will never be doing business from them again.

They took my money and won't give it back!

I just noticed that I've been getting charged $39.95 /month by ShoeDazzle on my credit card. I bought ONE pair of sandals from them MONTHS ago and now they are saying the money is NON-REFUNDABLE. So I basically have to buy shoes and keep my account open or lose my money and cancel my account. Oh they did say if I remember to log on between the 1st-5th of each month I can select to "skip a month" of charges....that is ONLY If I remember to log in and make the selection during those 5 days of the month. That is crooked, underhanded, shady business practice! I am not happy at all and will warn people about this
